Effective 23 October 2026 · replaces the version of 22 October 2026
Before you rely on anything in this app: AirReveal is a personal flight-companion and landmark-discovery tool, not an official flight-tracking, air-traffic, navigation or aviation-safety service. See Section 3. Nothing in these terms takes away your legal rights as a consumer.
1 Who we are and these terms
AirReveal is provided by iSafeNet (“we”, “us”), based in the United Kingdom. You can contact us at info@isafenet.app.
These terms are the agreement between you and us for using AirReveal. By downloading, installing or using AirReveal you accept them. They apply alongside AirReveal's Privacy Policy, which describes how your data is handled. Please read sections 3 and 12 in particular: they explain what AirReveal is not and the limits of our responsibility. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
2 What AirReveal is
AirReveal is a personal flight-companion app. It helps you plan a flight's route, track your own real flight live using your device's GPS, and discover landmarks, countries, and points of interest along the way — offline, wherever possible. It also keeps a personal journal of your completed trips. It is for your personal, non-commercial use.
Planning a flight — creating a route, previewing it on the map, browsing landmarks, downloading offline content — is always free, and so is seeing the planes in the sky around you, updated about once a minute. Live tracking a real flight with your device's GPS, including offline map support while you're tracking, requires an AirReveal Pro subscription (your first Live-tracked flight is free — see Section 5). So does Live Sky: planes updated every few seconds, Sit in Its Cockpit, Watch It Fly and Look Around Here at any airport.
3 Not an official flight-tracking or aviation-safety tool
AirReveal is not connected to any airline, airport, or air-traffic-control system, and it does not receive live flight-status data from any aviation authority. Route generation, flight numbers, and schedules you enter or import are for your own planning and record-keeping only.
Never rely on AirReveal for real-time flight status, gate information, delays, cancellations, navigation, or any safety-critical decision. Always use your airline's own app, airport displays, or staff for that information. AirReveal's Live tracking reflects your device's own GPS position — it is not a substitute for official flight information.
Routes, positions, landmarks, weather and the planes shown around you may be incomplete, delayed or inaccurate. This section explains those limits so you can make informed choices. It does not remove our responsibility where we have been negligent (see Section 12).
4 Age
You must meet the minimum age required to hold an Apple ID / App Store account in your country to use AirReveal, and to purchase a subscription. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms and to any subscription before you use AirReveal.
5 Subscriptions, cancelling and refunds
Your very first Live-tracked flight is free, with no subscription or payment required. After that, AirReveal Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription, billed and managed entirely through your Apple ID / App Store account:

Prices shown are for the United Kingdom. In other countries and regions the App Store charges the local equivalent, shown to you before you confirm any purchase.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price you agreed to.
Manage or cancel a subscription any time in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your device, or via the app's own Profile page.
A subscription can be restored on any device signed in to the same Apple ID using Restore Purchases in the app. The one-time Lifetime purchase is no longer sold; if you bought it before, it stays yours and restores the same way.
Refunds: because Apple takes the payment, refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com and handled under Apple's policy. We can't issue refunds directly. This doesn't affect your legal rights (Section 11), including your right to a remedy if AirReveal is faulty.
A flight you're already tracking live when your subscription lapses is not interrupted mid-flight, but starting or resuming Live tracking on any other flight afterwards requires an active subscription.
6 Your data & content
You own the flight details, journal entries, and photos you create in AirReveal. We don't claim any ownership over it, and — as described in the Privacy Policy — it stays on your device (and your own iCloud, only if you choose to sync it) rather than on an AirReveal server. You're responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for keeping your device secure, since AirReveal has no way to back up or recover data it never receives.
7 Location & offline maps
Live tracking uses your device's GPS, including in the background while the app isn't open, so your route and progress keep updating over the course of a real flight. You can revoke location permission at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → AirReveal, though doing so will stop Live tracking from working. Offline map and content downloads use publicly available map tiles and landmark data (see Section 10) and don't require any location permission beyond what Live tracking itself needs.
8 Your licence and acceptable use
We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use AirReveal on Apple devices you own or control, as allowed by the App Store's Usage Rules. You agree not to:
Copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with AirReveal beyond what applicable law expressly permits.
Use the app to store or transmit unlawful content, or in a way that breaks the law or infringes someone else's rights.
Attempt to circumvent AirReveal's subscription or licensing mechanisms.
Use the app in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it for other users.
9 Intellectual property
AirReveal's name, design, text and underlying software belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Using the app doesn't give you ownership of any of it. If anyone claims that AirReveal, or your use of it, infringes their intellectual property, we, not Apple, are responsible for investigating, defending and settling that claim.
10 Third-party services
AirReveal integrates with a small number of outside services to provide its features:
Apple — iCloud (optional sync), the App Store (subscriptions), and WeatherKit (live weather, when available), all governed by Apple's own terms and policies.
OpenFreeMap / MapLibre — free, keyless vector map tiles used to render maps and enable offline map viewing.
Wikipedia — free, keyless article summaries used to enrich landmark information you choose to download.
Your use of these services through AirReveal is also subject to each provider's own terms, which are outside our control. We can't guarantee the accuracy of data supplied by these third parties.
11 Your legal rights
If you are a consumer in the UK, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 says AirReveal must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described, and that we must provide it with reasonable care and skill. If it isn't, you may be entitled to a repair or replacement, or to some or all of your money back. If faulty digital content we supply damages your device or other content, and we didn't use reasonable care and skill, we will repair the damage or compensate you. Citizens Advice can explain your rights. Nothing in these terms affects these rights, or any rights you have under the law of the country you live in.
Within those rights, we don't promise that AirReveal will always be available or free of errors, or that any route, position, landmark, weather or flight information it shows will be accurate or complete.
12 Our responsibility to you
What we don't exclude. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for breach of your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit.
Foreseeable loss. If we break these terms or fail to use reasonable care and skill, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result. We are not responsible for loss or damage that isn't foreseeable.
Personal use only. AirReveal is for personal use. We are not responsible for any loss of profit, business or business opportunity.
Things outside our control. We are not responsible for loss caused by events outside our reasonable control, by information you entered that was wrong, or by relying on AirReveal for flight status, navigation or safety decisions it is not made for (Section 3). Where your own actions contributed to a loss, our responsibility is reduced to match.
Limit. Apart from the matters in the first point, our total liability to you for all claims relating to AirReveal is limited to the greater of £100 or the amount you paid for AirReveal in the 12 months before the claim arose.
13 Ending this agreement
You can stop at any time by cancelling any subscription and deleting the app. Your flights, journal and photos live on your device, so deleting the app removes them from it. If you have turned on alerts, turn them off before deleting the app: deleting the app does not tell iSafeNet's server to delete the alert records it holds, which expire as the Privacy Policy describes (see the Privacy Policy for details). We may end your use of AirReveal if you seriously break these terms. If we decide to stop offering AirReveal or a paid feature — for example, if the app is withdrawn from the App Store — we will give you reasonable notice where we can, and you can ask Apple for a refund of any period you've paid for but won't be able to use.
14 Changes to AirReveal and these terms
We update AirReveal to improve it, keep it secure and follow the law. We may change these terms for the same reasons. If a change significantly affects you, we will tell you in the app or the App Store release notes at least 30 days before it takes effect, unless the law or a safety or security reason needs it sooner. If you don't accept a change, you can cancel your subscription before it takes effect. The date at the top of this page shows when these terms last changed.
15 Apple
These terms are between you and us only, not with Apple. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for AirReveal and its content. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for AirReveal. If AirReveal fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) to you; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to AirReveal. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to AirReveal, including product liability claims, claims that AirReveal fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, and claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar laws.
You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You must also comply with any third-party terms that apply when using AirReveal, such as your mobile network's.
Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms, and once you accept them, Apple has the right to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.
16 Other important terms
Apart from Apple (Section 15), nobody else has any right to enforce these terms.
We may transfer this agreement to another organisation, but only if your rights under it are not reduced.
If a court finds part of these terms unlawful, the rest stays in force.
If we don't enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later.
17 Which laws apply and where you can bring a claim
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and you can bring legal proceedings about AirReveal in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland, you can bring proceedings in Scotland or in England and Wales; if you live in Northern Ireland, in Northern Ireland or in England and Wales.
If you live outside the UK, you keep the protection of any mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and you may be able to bring a claim in your local courts.
18 Complaints and contact
If you have a problem or a complaint, email info@isafenet.app and we will reply within 14 days.
